Stopped in Our Tracks

Well, it happens. Every now and then you get stopped in your tracks. It doesn’t matter where you are going. It doesn’t matter what time you need to be there. Schedules are not relevant. Sometimes you just get stopped in your tracks.
This can happen in our cars. It can happen in our relationships. It can happen in our spiritual lives. Things don’t constantly flow forward. Obstacles arise. Challenges rise up to meet us. Life can be hard.
Paul writes, “We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.”
Even when we experience a “flat tire” time in our life, we will be rolling again. Who knows? Maybe something powerful may happen while we are forced to stop. You never know.
Peace.
